Exercise 2

Create member GDGPROC in library &SYSUID.JCL.CNTL, by copying EX7 and deleting all statements, which are restricted from procedures.

Create member EX8 in library data set &SYSUID.JCL.CNTL, to contain the invoking Job Control for the procedure GDGPROC created above. The details below offer guidance on the number and type of statements required, plus an indication of some of the parameters, which may be needed.

JOB Statement

• Job name to be based on the TSO userid in use
• Memory requirement is for 4096K.
• Job to run in a class 'A' initiator.
• You are to be notified when the job ends.

JCLLIB statement

• Required to point to &SYSUID.JCL.CNTL

EXEC statement

• Executes procedure GDGPROC
